The Magic Space makes a BANG! at Vismayam 2008

TRIVANDRUM, May 1-4, 2008: Vismayam 2008, the International Magician's Convention brought together over 750 magicians from across the country and abroad. Three days of Magic, fun and frolic ensured that Vismayam 2008 will be talked of for some time to come.

Bangalore-based The Magic Space used this occasion to make a spectacular announcement of its arrival in the field of magic. Magic Dealer Stall #40 was the pick of the pack, with two of the four new products on offer by The Magic Space being sold out on Day One of the Convention.

The Dealers' Demonstration carried out by The Magic Space was in no way less unique with three of the top performers in the country demonstrating its high-quality wares on the Vismayam stage. First on was Master Magician M P Hashim, who demonstrated the use of the Throw Coil -- but only after buying off the entire stock made available at the Convention by The Magic Space.

Charlie Chaplin of India Magician M Yona was next and produced Jumbo Production Dice from almost nowhere! Mega Magic Star Kudroli Ganesh came on stage next to introduce and talk about The Essential Card Magic Kit (a Nakul Shenoy presentation via The Magic Space).



Stall #40 had more than it's share of special visitors, after being jointly inaugurated by Magician Marius from Russia and renowned author Mami Yamada from Japan. One of the biggest names ever in Indian magic, the irrepressible nonagenarian Magician K Lal was a surprise visitor at The Magic Space stall, and spent a long time discussing finer details of the craft and its wares with Nakul Shenoy, who was present there to promote his latest offering to the magic fraternity - The Essential Card Magic Kit.

The numerous others who visited The Magic Space stall at the convention center resembled the who's who of the world of Magic, and included Cardician Shekhar, Magician M Yona, Illusionist P M Mitra, Prince Sil of Kolkata, Magician Marius from Moscow, Magician Raj Kumar from Delhi, Mami Yamada from Tokyo, Tomy Manjooran from UAE, Anand Tayade from Mumbai, Mega Magic Star Kudroli Ganesh from Mangalore, and Indian Houdini Prahlad Acharya from Udupi. The special representatives from FISM 2009 - The World Championships of Magic from Beijing, China also visited the stall and expressed keen interest in the products on sale.

The highly successful foray at the eventful Convention came to an end on a high note with a lucky draw organised by The Magic Space, which was jointly carried out by Magician Marcel from South Africa and Nakul Shenoy of India. Two lucky winners walked away with exciting prizes from the lucky draw, and a lot more with the high-quality magic wares purchased from The Magic Space.
